Dan passed away on November 4, 2014. He was a charismatic guy and surely missed by all who knew him. I remember when he showed up at Wilson . . . he had REAL sideburns! It caused quite a stir to say the least! Rest in peace Dan and prayers for your family and friends. If you have memories of Dan please do post them.

I remember thinking Dan was one of the coolest guys, alot of fun. Frank reminded me of a late spring(1978) cross country ski trip to Hogback Mountain with Dan, Frank Lovering, Mark Kirk and myself. What a blast, one those hot late spring days on the snow up in the mountains. Truly memorable. Peace

I remember the day I met Dan, I was involved in a minor altercation with some fine young men in the class ahead of us. Just about the time I thought I was going to get my ass kicked this guy with a mustache and big mutton chops came walking up to us and said "Hey! knock it off, cant you guys be cool? Its the first day of school man"........ Everyone seperated and split up, and Dan walked away, and I was so thankful that a "teacher" intervened and saved my bacon. I was quite surprised when he came into my class a few hours later and sat down next to me......He smiled and said "You ok man?" Thats when I found out he wasnt a teacher and I was so amazed because I was still waiting for puberty to set in.......he was very kind to me from then on, and I am not ashamed to say I loved Dan Keefe.
