Kitty Rich Berg

I was pregnant at the 10 year reunion, pregnant at the 20 year reunion, but I'm makin' sure I won't be pregnant for the 30th!!...we have 3 great kids for the effort and life is pretty good! I've been married 25 years (to the same man even), and we still get along! We have 2 boys: A sophomore at Gonzaga and a senior at Ike, and a daughter in 4th grade.

As for me, after high school and college (Go Cougs!) I went to work in marketing for Nike and the Portland Trail Blazers. After moving back to Yakima, I owned Budget Tapes & Records for a short time. After 2 years, my husband and I decided to sell it when the roof caved-in one rainy day...(needless to say, those were the dark days)....it was definitely NOT my calling. The kids soon followed and I was off to the races doing what I was meant to do..be a mom.

I remember being pulled over by the police on the way home from a kegger at a cabin in the mountains. I was only 15 at the time, but I persuaded the police into believing I was sixteen and driving without a license...he eventually let us go....AFTER he made us dump out the rest of the keg that was rolling around in the back of the station wagon! Let's see...fishing with the coaches was fun, until my folks saw the write-up in the newspaper. Saturday Night Live at Jamie's was always great! Stealing port-a-potties and dumping them at Davis was a good time. And going to L&A for a bag of fries never seemed like a bad idea....those were the days.
