Steve lost his battle with cancer in March of 2012. I went all twelve years of public school with Steve. He is included my 1st grade class picture, which is uploaded on my profile.
I remember a shy, handsome guy. Most of all a good guy. Please post your memories!
To Steve Caldwell Families: i am ever sorry for your lost of your son Steve he was good Friend to me when we was that Eisenhower High School togeter i will miss him rest of my life he was nice friend I ever had at that School .
Goodbye Steve, a gentleman in every sense of the word. A good man with a big heart and a gentle spirit; he faced the ravages of cancer with courage and dignity. I will miss him.
Not that I knew Steve well. But always pleasant and seemed happy and hopeful.
However;
it is extremely sad to hear that our classmates are going through such pain and this is not at all what we were planning as we were running through the halls of school and enjoying all our childhood activities.
I wish his family peace and healing and to know that he is remembered as a genuinely good guy.
Steve was a quiet guy who always had a sense of humor in a quiet way. Actually he was quiet about most things. I will always him saying, "Yeah, right!" in a growling way. Still waters run deep. Go with God, friend.
Sad to hear of Steve's passing. We shared Wilson, Ike, football and Facebook as our common threads in life. Many exchanges of notes about the Huskies are now silenced. Unfortunately, Steve was about the 20th Cadet to leave our small world. This quote is dedicated to Steve: Sadly missed along life's way, quietly remembered every day...No longer in our life to share, but in our hearts, you're always there.
This is Steve's brother, Paul. Thank you for all your kind comments. If you're on Facebook, Steve's site is still up or you can friend me at "Paul D. Caldwell" where I've got an album or two that might further shed some light on his life. Thanks to Kathy Bounds for maintaining THIS website. God bless!
