Jerry apparently wasn't feeling well and went to the hospital on January 6th, 2016. Unfortunately died while they were doing testing. His son contacted us to let us know he passed away from pancreatitis.

Jerry was a very good friend when we were growing up from Nob Hill to Ike. As we grew up and got busy with our lives and families we saw less of each other. But no matter how long it was between our visits he was always someone I could count on for a laugh and a good word. He was a good man & I will miss him

Wow, very sad surprise, Jerry and I were very good friends from 9th grade at Wilson through IKE. My heart feels a loss. When around Jerry he always had us laughing and having a good time. I will miss Jerry.

It is hard for me to make this post, what do you say about your best friend, there is so much to say, and because of that there is so little. I just feel like my guts have been ripped out.
