We moved, and after 27 years in good ole Oklahoma, we now live in Medford, Oregon (for 8 years now) and I’ve geared down, biding my time until retirement. I am no longer in charge. Whew! Our oldest daughter had a baby, so a lot of knitting is going on for that little girl. We love southern Oregon, and plan to stay put.

The highlight of my days in high school wasn't when I got tapped for the Honor Society, or when I wrote for the 5 Star Journal. Oh, no. It was when I braided my long hair and wrapped the braids into buns over my ears, donned a white choir robe, encased a canister vacuum with foil, and then paraded out during a pep rally as Princess Leia -- dragging R2D2/vacuum behind me. I have no idea or memory of how I got talked into that one. I mean, it's not like I was a cheerleader or anything(?).
