After highschool graduation, I worked for The Gazebo hair salon as a receptionist. Then I decided to go back to school. I went to YVCC for a year and later transfered to CWU.
I graduated in 1984 with a degree in Special Education. I was hired that fall to teach for the Sunnyside School District. I have been teaching special education in Sunnyside for the past 25 years.
In 1987 my daughter Chelsea was born. She has been the "apple of my eye"! I couldn't be more proud of her and her accomplishments,we have been very blessed. Chelsea just graduated from CWU this spring and is going to be teaching Kindergarten this fall in Prosser,Wa. My husband Randy and I have been married for 22 years. He works for Cascade Natural Gas. We live on a farm outside of Sunnyside with many animals, horses,cows,a mule and 2 dogs. It is a "comfortable" life!
