I have always created and played music, both solo and in various bands. I should have another CD (remember when we called them "albums?") of original music out by summer. Visual art has continued to be a big part of my life, and after quitting teaching (10 years teaching special ed. was way more than enough) I apprenticed myself and now am a tattoo artist with my own company, Tattoo Liberation Front. I am also a mascot for a women's roller derby team in Seattle (they call me "Brother X"):Derby Liberation Front of the Rat City Roller Girls. My wife Cathy and I have taken numerous long-distance bicycle tours (to San Francisco, to the Dakotas, all around the northwest), lots of hiking, snowshoeing, and I run a couple of marathons a year while Cathy does half's. The kids are all grown, so now we hang out mostly with our two big dogs and 3 cats when we're not out on some adventure or another. I'm also an ordained Reverend and Reiki Master so if anyone needs to get healed, married, buried, or baptised I'm your guy.
